SCUDO XPRESS Rideshare Services

Welcome to SCUDO XPRESS. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SCUDO XPRESS rideshare, vehicle-sharing, rental, and related transportation services (“Services”). By accessing, booking, renting, or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility Requirements
To use SCUDO XPRESS Services, you must:
•Be at least 21 years of age unless otherwise approved in writing.
•Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
•Maintain active and valid automobile insurance when required.
•Provide accurate and complete registration and payment information.
•Meet all verification and screening requirements established by SCUDO XPRESS.
SCUDO XPRESS reserves the right to deny or terminate service at its discretion if eligibility requirements are not met.
2. Vehicle Use & Driver Responsibility
Drivers are responsible for operating all vehicles safely, lawfully, and responsibly at all times. By using SCUDO XPRESS Services, you agree that you will:
•Follow all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
•Not operate a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
•Not allow unauthorized drivers to use the vehicle.
•Return the vehicle in substantially the same condition in which it was received, excluding normal wear and tear.
•Report accidents, damage, theft, citations, or mechanical issues immediately.
Drivers are financially responsible for:
•Traffic violations
•Parking tickets
•Toll charges
•Vehicle damage caused during the rental period
•Excessive cleaning fees
•Unauthorized use or misuse of the vehicle
3. Booking & Payment Terms
All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and approval. Pricing may vary based on vehicle type, rental duration, mileage, location, insurance options, and applicable fees.
By submitting payment, you authorize SCUDO XPRESS to charge your selected payment method for:
•Rental charges
•Deposits
•Insurance or protection plans
•Late return fees
•Cleaning fees
•Damage-related costs
•Administrative fees
Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or termination of access to SCUDO XPRESS Services.
4. Deposits & Authorization Holds
Certain rentals may require a refundable security deposit or temporary authorization hold. Deposits may be used to cover unpaid balances, damages, violations, cleaning costs, or other charges associated with the rental.
Refund timelines for released deposits may vary depending on your financial institution.
5. Cancellations & Refund Policy
•All approved bookings are subject to SCUDO XPRESS cancellation policies.
•Refund eligibility is determined based on the timing of cancellation and reservation status.
•No refunds will be issued for violations of these Terms, misuse of vehicles, or failure to meet eligibility requirements.
•Missed pickup times or early returns may not qualify for refunds or credits.
SCUDO XPRESS reserves the right to cancel reservations due to safety concerns, payment issues, vehicle availability, or policy violations.
6. Insurance & Claims
Insurance coverage, when applicable, is subject to separate terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations.
Drivers remain responsible for:
•Deductibles
•Excluded damages
•Negligent or reckless operation
•Unauthorized use of vehicles
All accidents, claims, or incidents must be reported immediately to SCUDO XPRESS and local authorities when required.
Insurance Processing and Deposit Allocation
To help prevent interruptions in rideshare or delivery platform eligibility, SCUDO XPRESS may allocate a portion of the Renter's security deposit toward the advance payment of insurance coverage required for participation on approved rideshare and delivery platforms.
This process allows SCUDO XPRESS to maintain continuous insurance compliance and helps avoid delays associated with insurance policy updates, verification processing, or the issuance of updated insurance identification cards.
The Renter acknowledges and agrees that a portion of the security deposit may be temporarily applied toward insurance-related expenses necessary to maintain the Vehicle's eligibility for rideshare and delivery platform operations. This procedure is intended to help minimize downtime and prevent the loss of income opportunities that may result from delays in insurance verification.
Any applicable insurance-related charges deducted from the security deposit will be reflected in the Renter's account records. Remaining deposit funds, less any authorized deductions, will be handled in accordance with the Security Deposit provisions of this Agreement.

7. Prohibited Uses
Vehicles rented or shared through SCUDO XPRESS may not be used for:
•Illegal activities
•Racing or reckless driving
•Towing without written authorization
•Transporting hazardous materials
•Commercial hauling unless approved
•Subleasing or unauthorized rideshare activity outside approved platforms
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination, additional fees, and legal action.
8. Vehicle Availability & Maintenance
SCUDO XPRESS works to maintain reliable and roadworthy vehicles; however, vehicle availability is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to substitute, remove, or cancel vehicles at any time due to maintenance, safety inspections, accidents, or operational needs.
Drivers must notify SCUDO XPRESS immediately if a vehicle experiences mechanical issues or warning indicators.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SCUDO XPRESS, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services, including but not limited to:
•Loss of income
•Missed rideshare opportunities
•Personal property loss
•Delays or interruptions in service
•Third-party claims
Use of SCUDO XPRESS Services is at your own risk.
10. Account Suspension & Termination
SCUDO XPRESS reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts for:
•Violations of these Terms
•Fraudulent activity
•Unsafe driving behavior
•Nonpayment
•Abuse toward staff or customers
•False information or identity verification failures
Termination decisions are made at the sole discretion of SCUDO XPRESS.
11. Privacy & Data Use
By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of information necessary to provide booking, payment, verification, and customer support services. Information may be shared when legally required or operationally necessary to provide Services.
12. Modifications to Terms
SCUDO XPRESS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

4. Security Deposit and Damage Guarantee
Certain rentals may require a refundable security deposit or temporary authorization hold. The security deposit may be applied toward any unpaid rental charges, late fees, damages, parking or traffic citations, tolls, administrative fees, excessive cleaning charges, or any other amounts owed under the Rental Agreement.
To protect both the renter and SCUDO XPRESS, the Security Deposit will not be eligible for release immediately upon the return of the vehicle. Because parking tickets, traffic citations, toll violations, and automated camera citations may not be reported or received for several weeks after the rental period has ended, SCUDO XPRESS reserves the right to hold the Security Deposit for approximately 4 to 6 weeks following the return of the vehicle to allow sufficient time for any outstanding notices to be received and verified.
If no outstanding balances, citations, tolls, damages, or other charges are identified during this review period, the eligible Security Deposit refund will be processed promptly. Refund processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
Please Note: If a citation, toll, or other charge is received after the Security Deposit has been refunded, the renter remains financially responsible for those charges, including any applicable administrative processing fees, as permitted by this Agreement.
